Construction site
On site the heat has to arrive fast without getting in the way of the work. Insulation is often missing and sometimes so is mains power.
- Use a high dispersion coefficient: a building shell loses a lot of heat.
- Direct-fired diesel or gas gives the most output per euro of fuel, but needs ventilation.
- Infrared heats people and materials instead of air: usable in semi-open spaces.
- Fans remove dust, fumes and moisture and speed up curing of screed and plaster.
